My dreams

My dream is to become an independent person. That’s what I want to be in the future, but that doesn’t mean that I want to be away from my family or friends, no, I want to be able to work and live with my own money, and travel around the world to meet a lot of people and choose the best I like as you said in the power point last day in class. I want to be like the person who is

smiling in the publicity advertisements, like the people who I know their dreams become true.

Beside that, the realistic dream, I have another ones (a lot, exactly speaking). I dream in write romances that the editorials want to sell and people want to read, not, not exactly: I want to write my own stories, with my particular style, and meet somebody (I don't mind if is only one person) who likes my work.

I dream in overcome my own expectations in the future, in see places I’ve never think I would see, feel feelings I’ve never feel, write words I’ve never heard before. That’s a very romantic vision of the future, I know, but I will never see the world in another way, that’s my vision of life: be whatever you dream, you only have to want it.

I can’t think more dreams I wish to become true, it’s true that I have them, but I can’t memorize any other right now. I wish you have enjoy my words about my dreams, I know maybe their wouldn’t happen, but I will only discover it trying to reach them.

Self evaluation

This year in the first oral presentation I felt better, less nervious. I think it went good.

But mmmmmh there's something I can say about my pronuntiation: I think it can be better. And also my presence.

But I think I did it well and I'm glad of my oral presentation, I'm happy with it.

Do you like it? It was so great, I wanted to be clear.

COSMETIC SURGERY

Aesthetic plastic surgery involves changes of appearance through surgical and medical techniques, and is specifically concerned with maintaining normal appearance, restoring it, or improving it beyond the average level toward some aesthetic ideal.

Cosmetic surgery has a great developement in south american countries like Colombia, México, Brasil, Venezuela, Perú, Chile and Argentina (I suppose that’s because of their laws).

There are some patients that suffer a mental disorder that makes them sad because they think that their bodies has changed a lot and they miss their old body, that’s the Body Dimorphic Disorder.

There are many people obsessed with beauty and perfection, that makes them resort to cosmetic surgery.

There’s a problem with that: when cosmetic surgery became a necessity the health of the patient can be in danger! Too many operations can be dangerous as we know so, if you don’t like your body think that nobody’s perfect and that the others won’t accept you if you doesn’t do it for first.

BEAUTY CANON

What is the ideal of beauty actually? That’s very simple. A woman has to be thin, tall, nice like a doll and fragile. Don’t you think so? Big boobs, good buttocks, nice face, perfect eyes, noise…well…all has to be perfect! And so with men: strongly men, tall men, nice men, sporty men… perfect men!

What’s the problem here? Easy: As I say nobody’s perfect, so everybody think that they have defects, but that makes us specials, don’t you think?

Say no to cosmetic useless surgery, be as you are, you are imperfectly perfect! :)

Teacher you have my composition of this opinion essay, the good one, so I have to write here the one which is uncorrected... :S

Can we live without humour?

It is a good question. I'm glad that someone cares about my opinion on this. Of course not; WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HUMOUR.

Humour is necessary in the whole world, it is one of the universal languages. Everybody needs it.

My life without humour would be very boring because I love it, I think it is a clever way to express ourselves.

I believe that humour should be a subject in the high school because we need to find the optimistic way to live as a reslt. It would be great! I'm sure people would be ready to carry on with all their problems.

Humour, for me, is the way to be happier, whatever you feel in everymoment of your life; humour will make you smile.

As Bob Marley said: Don't worry, be happy.

A joke

There are two men in the desert and they know that they will be a long time suffering there because their car has break down. One of them is clever and the other is so fool. They both take a piece of material of the car.

The clever one takes the food and the water that is in the car and the fool, incredibly, takes the door of the left side. They both are walking, the fool is carring the door with him and the clever looks at him like saying: "Are you fucking kidding me? What is he doing?"

After a while the fool asks to the clever one:

-Hey, man, why have you take with you all the food and the water?

The clever one things that something in the other guy is going to bad, but he asks the question.

-Because when I would be hungry I would eat and when I would be thirsty I would drink. Obviously!

The fool one look at the other thinking: What a fool man! Food and water! He's mad!

The clever one state the fool one. He thinks to ask the fool why have he take with him the door, because it is so stupid.

-Why have you take with you the door? What you have done is very strange!!!

-Strange?- asks the fool- Why? I took with me the left door because when it would be warm I will open the window!!!!!

My summer of rowing! The juvenile team of Xon's Rem Empuriabrava

This year 2011, my team and I won the Catalan League of the Mediterranean Llagut, the most important competition in the season of rowing. I'm very glad of it and I will love explain you this wonderful year.

It starts with the batel championship (we woooon it and we were very happy with this start of season). Then came the Llaüt Championship in Banyoles, the Catalan championship!!! And we won it too!

But, as I say, the best thing it could happen was to win the Catalan league... AND WE DONE THIS in Lloret de Mar fighting so hard against a team, Cambrils, which was tied with us. But we did it, we did it! And it was beatiful to raised our oars (one thing that only happends when you won one important competition). I cried a lot (I

almost never cry) and everything was perfect to me, with my team, with this ten girls: Maria, Mireia, Cristina, Lydia, Marta, Sonia, Gema, Núria Fábrega, Nuria Sala and me :)

Now there is the Spanish Championship, and I think we can win it! It is in May, in Alicante, Valencia. We went the last year to Valencia too, to this competition, but we didn't win. This year everything is different and I'm sure we can get it! (Força Xooooon's!!).

Banksy

Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter.

They are so good and I think it's a nice way to revindicate the ideals of an artist. He disagree the capitalism society that rules actually and he shows it in pictures like these. Another example can be this photo of Jesus Christ:

New types of art

I like art very much and I want to show you some new ideas on art.

Art is one thing very important to me, art is not only painting, it is writing, sculturing, etc. But today I will talk about painting only.

There are a lot of ways to express ourselves, art, for me, is the one which englobes all that things!!!

Here are the examples of new art:

Castle

Castle is an American comedy-drama television series, which premiered on ABC on March 9, 2009. The series is produced by Beacon Pictures andABC Studios. On January 10, 2011, Castle was renewed for a fourth season. Season four premiered on September 19, 2011.

When the writer Richerd Castle (Nathan Fillion) is lack of imagination, it seems to call for him when an alleged mass murdered imitates the killings of his novels. In this first case, Richard Castle colaborates with Kate Beckett (Stana Katic), he finds in her new inspiration for his new novel and he decides to join her in her new cases.

I love this TV series! I watch it every day from Monday to Friday in the afternoon. It is so great beacuse it's a policial series but it is also funny, romantic and fictive.

This are the main characters in the series:

They are: Richard Castle, Kate Beckett, Javier Esposito, Kevin Ryan, Alexis Castle, Marthe Rodgers, Lanie Parish, Roy Montgomery.

My favourite character is Richard Castle, of course! And I like Alexis and Martha too. There's no character which I hate and this is very strange because I have always a character that I hate in every TV series.

Right now it is my favourite series and I would like to know if Castle and Beckett will be together!!!!! If you know it don't tell meeee pleaseeee!!! I hate people who tells the finales of the series or books or films... Well...Now you know... If you say something about the finale of the series I will have to kill you... (Noooo, it is only a joke!!! humhumhum).

found it a week ago in the internet and I laughed a lot. Federico Trillo, ex-defense minister, was in The Salvador with a group of militars. He was in the Salvador but some days ago he had stayed at Honduras a few days, so when he had to say: "¡Viva Honduras!"

OOOOOH, the funny thing it's that the militars of the Salvador answer very stranged: "¡Viva Honduras!" but after a militar said to Trillo that he was in the Salvador. He apologized himself and said correctly: "¡Viva el Salvador!"

US Republican candidate Perry Can't Remember Agency He Wants to Cut

At Wednesday's CNBC debate in Michigan, Texas Gov. Rick Perry had a major gaffe in which he could not remember a federal agency he wanted to cut. (For the record, that agency was the Department of Energy.)

That's what I heard in the news of this week; pooooor Perry! :O

I think it's so hard to be in a situation like this, although, Rick Perry laughts of himself now and it is the best thing he can do. It is important to laught about ourselves when we make that sort of mistakes, don't you think?

It is also true that a politician has to be a good structure of his ideas and his proposals have to be thoughtful, but I feel sad about this man when I put myself in his shoes. OOOOOOH, I don't know what I would do if I was in this situation. What a trouble!

His departure from this embarrassing moment is just that: laugh of himself. There is no other way because his career is in the spotlight. I sincerely doubt he will obtain now the same number of votes, but it is what it aspires after that gaffe.

Indie

The term "indie rock" is used to describe a derivative musical subgenre of alternative rockmovement emerged in the United States and the United Kingdom during the 1980s. As the term suggests (comes from the English indie independent - "independiente" in Spanish) is a style that is characterized by its remoteness from major musical trends or majority.

Normaly I don't say waht kind of music I listen to, but nowadays is this type of music, Indie, the music I often listen. I use music for a lot of things, one example: I'm listeto the music right now to write this composition (juju) and also I listen to the music when I'm writing my novel (the one which I'm going to present with my TdR). That kind of music is a type of music that just like a few.

I find it a simple kind of music that sometimes doesn't take anything else than a guitar or some simple low bass. The voices are always natural and without touch, I love that very much!!! I considere that singers should never modify their voices, of course, there a lot of singers doing it, but I will be happier if they just sing with their voice, naturally, won't you?

The Indie has a sound not very easy to explain, it is a special sound that you will recognize immediately when you listen to some of the songs I put you under here. I hope you would like them! :)

Eight years ago photographer Brian David Stevens headed to the cenotaph on Remembrance

Sunday to take pictures of the war veterans who gathered as part of the commemorations which are held across the UK in honour of those who died in wars and conflicts.

Yet Brian is not taking pictures of the parade, instead he is making portraits of the veterans themselves, compelling photographs of those who have fought for their country.

"The vast majority of veterans are happy to be photographed once I've explained the project," Brian told me. "After the march past they tend to be more relaxed".

"As the years pass the number of veterans from the World War I has dwindled to nothing and the number from World War II is steadily reduced, but their places are taken by other veterans from newer conflicts, who are also included."

I like these photos too much. When I saw this new I knew that I would choose it. I think it is a good way to show to the world how these old ex-soldiers have suffer. These photos show me their pain, the things they have seen. These, for me, are really good photos, they show me a reality, something I can trust. They are the past, the pain of the past, the suffer, the hungry, the solitude, the fear. If you look at their eyes you can see a lot of things, don't you think? Look at them fearless... There are like voices telling stories, aren't them?

Well, I feel so moving today and I see a lot of things in these photos. I don't if you are thinking now that I'm very poetic or something...(hahaha) I don't know. That's my way to see it. I think it's a beautiful way to look at pictures; try to find storis beside them. It's a good advice! hehe

When it rains

When it rains I feel good. Alone in my home I feel safe of the wet rain, safe of the cold wind. I like to listen to the rain in my dining room. I like to see the rain falling in the windows, slowly.

Sometimes I miss more rain when it stops raining.

Some people don't like the rain and I don't understand them. The beauty of the rain is pure nature, one of the things that can stop us, change us, I mean: when it rains the world stops turning around, it seems like is another world: new smells, new views, new atmosphere. I like it, it seems like a

dream. In my dreams I cannot remember a day with rain, and I will love to see diferent rainings, someones of my imagination, maybe I could control the rain and make it dance as I want. I don't know, maybe it sounds paranohic or strange, but its what I feel about the rain. Don't you think that it is one of the nature powers that exist everywhere nowadays? I mean: it can rains in the cities, in the fields of a big land, in the jungle... Well, I think all the weather is one of the powers of nature that affect us directly.

One girl in the city, running towards her home because she has just finish at work. When she is in his house it starts raining outside. She feels safe and secure in her flat, even there's no-one else than her. She feels alone, but the rythm of rain accompanyies her slowly through the open window. She goes to the window and close it. Then she watch the raindrops falling quickly window below... Hmm, it is a relaxing moment. I think about me the next year in Barcelona. Winter is so hard, but rain makes it more bearable, you agree?

Well... These are my reflections about the rain. Today it's raining, the sky is singing slowly, and I listen and write what it tells me.
