Thirteen vs. Adrian Mole

On these two films there are a lot of similities. The main character are very similar. But there's a difference too.

Similities:

Tracy is a girl who wants to be popular and she searchs friends like this to arrive to her goal. She finds Evie, who is very very popular and a "bad girl". Tracy starts to take drugs, starts finding some answers with sexual activities and she feels popular, strats having familiar problems and argues with her mother...Evie it's a bad influence for Tracy! And, obviously, the story has a sad ending.

Andrian Mole it's similar to Tracy because he is a rebel adolescent and he is drinking alcohol too, find answers to his sexual qüestions... He is a rude boy and his personal character is s

o strong. He has problems with his family too.

Differences:

Adrian Mole's story ends well and Tracy not.

Tracy goes worse than Adrian in my opinion.

The one I liked more than the other:

Thirteen, the movie, likes me more than Adrian Mole. I don't like Adrian Mole's one because it was so boring, and I like more Thirteen because that movie explains very good till the point that youth can get when they aren't very good mind!

What music means to me

Music is, sometimes, the way I can express myself. I can say something with notes when I'm sad, or happy, or melancholic... Music usually is my life and other times is my way to escape from the world.

My hobby with music starts a long time ago, when I listen to Sara, my big sister playing the piano and I get surprised about how wonderful it was. I said to my mother: "Mum, please, I want you to let me prove the piano". My mum smiled and I feel alright. One year after I started my piano classes =) I was nine.

Since that day, music, the piano, even the guitar (wich I just play from two years ago), fascinated me a lot. Sometimes music seems to get to eat my world. There are summer days when the sun is about to hide, specks of dust are trying to fly around of me and the light looks so beautiful, I completely lose track of time and I can play the piano until someone stops me. Music is something that allows me the luxury of never feel alone. I have never felt alone playing the piano. I can sense melancholy, missed ... but never alone.

It's different to explain what I feel abut music, but I will try to do it.

When I learned to play well and I could hear beautiful sounds that I was making it made me feel so great.. For exemple, if I where in a field and nobody else was near obviously I should feel alone but, if in this moment a ray o light warm my face, something had to change. In that moment one thing is sure: I would feel better, not so alone, and I will start to look around me and then realize how beautiful the field is and as the light is decorating everything…

I will begin to see a lot of beauty where there was none before. Music is something similar to me. Find beauty where many doesn’t see it, and makes me feel in company.

I love classic music, a lot. I feel something special not like with techno music, for example, and many types of music like this. They don't make me feel this kind of feelings. That's why they are different types of music! =D

But, anyway, I love actually music too. It's true that I don't like techno music a lot, but I like acustic music and piano-voice music, piano-violin-voice-music.... I love all music (except “reggaeton” puaj!).

Now I want to start playing the violin but I don’t have time. I wanna do this tag longer but I don’t have time or space to put all my feelings towards music.

I expect that this little introduction is something clear to understand a piece of my world now. I opened a door to my mind in this tag, I hope you to see it ;)

Shiwa

For first I will say that I don't wanna make the transcription because I think that it's so boring. It's more funny say my opinion about how I do it! haha I feel like I didin't do it well :( But, anyway, let's start making a little summary about what I said:

I maked my Oral presentation about my dog, Shiwa. I explained that he is a siberian husky and he is so beautiful! I put in my power point a lot of pictures to prove it! haha

For first I described him by two ways:

-How is he physically?

-How is his character?

Then I explained what are his likes and dislikes and what he use to do. Then I put this famous photos I said before and I asked if someone had some question :)

I said some wrong words, but I think that it isn't a bad oral presentation! It was great! (Hm!) haha

Fairy tale: The ugly princess

Once upon a time there was a princess called Yola and she was very very ugly. She was confined in a castle tower. She cried day and night because her love didn’t love her. He was a young prince called Yago that rode every day around the castle. She felt alone and sad because she was only visited by her witch, Diane. She was very old and unhappy and she had a very big wart that Yola hated.

One day Diane saw her sigh and she knew that Yola was in love, but she didn’t know who was her love. Yola told her the story of her love and she begged her a potion to be beautiful. Diane wasn’t agree but she finally accept.

Yola drunk the potion and fell asleep for five days. When she woke up she looked at her mirror and saw that she was beautiful.

Then she was beautiful but she stills in the castle tower because the witch banned go out. However she called the prince from the window of her prison.

Yago saw her beauty and he said:

-Oh my little princess. Why are you confined in this tower? Tell me your name and I will make you free.

-Oh my pretty prince. My name is Yola Berrocal, come and make me free, please.

When the witch saw Yola run away with her love, Yago, she became depressed and died the next day.

Yola was nearly to kiss Yago’s mouth when Diane’s enchantment was broken. She returned to her previous look. She was ugly again Yago was surprised but he also kissed her.

-I’m upset for tell you lies- lamented the princess.

-I don’t care about you look. I love your personality, not your face- said Yago taking her in his arms.

And they lived happily ever after.

Bridget Jones

For first I will make a little summary about the film and then I will explain why I choose that film.

Summary:

Bridget Jones is a single thirty convinced that everyone is doing well except her. She has little ambitions: she just wants to lose weight and find true love. But it seems an impossible goal.

Her love life is in perpetual crisis. So, as New Year's resolution, Bridget decides to start controlling her life and start writing a diary. Although his friends Judi, Tom

and Shannon lend all sorts of tips vain against, Bridget is soon torn between two men.

On the one hand, her boss Daniel Cleaver, charming and sexy, but dangerous, and an old family friend, Mark Darcy, who seems at first quiet and boring but he reveals his true personality.

Why I choose that film?

I choose that film because is a british movie and I love it! I thought that a british movie will be good for explain in this blog. That's a famous film and there's a book too that is so funny. That film is a funny film too, I choose it because it makes me laught.

What's my opinion about the film?

I said that I love it, and I love it! It's a very funny movie a

nd I love Bridget's character. Is a very normal woman but she has something that makes she close to people. She's like a real person, not very beautiful and not very thin (movie girls seems to be the same: thin, beautiful...) but she's different by the cannons of Hollywood. There's a second movie about Bridget Jones but I liked more this one, so I decided to do this tag about it. Now I show you one picture about the film and one trailer.

Three-year-old girl rescued after falling 23m down well

A three-year-old girl in Argentina has been safely rescued after falling down a 30m (100ft) well.

Rescue workers spent more than six hours trying to pull Vanessa Mamani from the shaft in a field in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires province.

She was taken to hospital where doctors said she was shocked but otherwise unharmed by the ordeal.

Argentina's President Cristina Kirchner has described the rescue as "a miracle".

"She got out and screamed as if she had just been born," she told reporters after visiting the girl in hospital.

The rescue operation was broadcast live on Argentine television, as fibre optic cameras showed the small girl trapped in a narrow space at the bottom of the mine shaft, after falling 23 metres.

She appeared unhurt but there were concerns that she might be suffering from less obvious

injuries.

The space was too small for anyone to go down and fetch her, so a harness had to be lowered down for her to put on herself.

Chief firefighter Marcelo Tucci said it was unclear until the last moment whether Vanessa would be able to follow the instructions and put on the harness, the Associated Press reports.

But she managed to attach herself and her rescuers erupted in cheers as she reached the surface at around midnight local time (0300 GMT).

Vanessa was then taken to hospital in Florencio Varela. Hospital director Arnaldo Medina said she was suffering "from a state of shock" but was "doing fine".

My opinion: My opinion on all news related to people who have to be picked up is that they should not be surrounded by cameras at the time to surface.

I think they should leave space to breathe for relief and not make them nervous. If I were in a situation like this I don't like this kind of atention, cameras in everywhere and also a lot of people watching me and making me photos.

I'm agree that people knows about this girl and her situation but there should be only one or two cameras. In this occasion also she is a very small child and she is very shocked when she is picked up to surface.

In fact, I think that she is well now but she had to go badly at the time of her rescue.

Trabellers to USA now pay to promote the country

The new:

Travellers to the United States now have to pay 14 dollars -around 11 euros- even if they are visa-exempt. Most of this is to pay for promoting the US for holidays, as visitor numbers have declined.

The fee goes by the name "Esta", for Electronic System for Travel Authorisiation. Esta has been mandatory since January last year for anyone from the more than 30 countries that are part of a Visa Waiver Program, only now it is a paying concern.

Jacquelyn Aron Bednarz of the US Department of Homeland Security said: "What is important for travellers to know is only those who are applying for a new ESTA, beginning on Sep

tember 8, will have to pay the fee. If you are one of those 26 million travellers who already have an approved ESTA, you don't have to pay the fee, until your ESTA expires."

Esta is valid for business and tourism travellers for stays of 90 days or less, valid for two years. The details on the application include passport number, date of birth and criminal record details, if any.

A European travel agent raised one of the objections her customers have. Christiane Vermant, an agency owner, said: "If you're only on your way through the US and have a couple of hours' stayover waiting for your connection at the airport, you still have to pay. That adds up for families with two or three children, shen they're not even staying in the US."

Various consumer associations have criticised the American govermment's forcing visitors to contribute to a fund to make the US look good around the world. Unless you are Esta approved, you will not be allowed on the plane.

My opinion:

I think that Esta is a unfair payment. It's good when travellers stay in the USA for a long time, but I think that it isn't necessary to pay for Esta when you are only waiting for a plane to go to another country.

If American governament changes the tax it would be better, and then maybe the other countries would follow suit and that will be much better for all the tourists who would be able to have cheaper travel.

In times of crisis I think everybody needs something to cheer themselves up and a cheaper holiday could be what many people need.

Perhaps Spain should be the pioneers of an idea like this against the crisis it may encourage people to come to visit us.

Spain being one of the worst European countries in crisis should come up with an innovation to bring everybody out of the crisis.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II is the latest film in the Harry Potter saga. It will be released July 15, 2011.

It is rumored that begins after the return of Ron scene. The film adaptation of the seventh and final book in the series was divided into two parts to avoid the elimination of important aspects of the plot, so this is a continuation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I. My opinion:

I think that Harry Potter is a good saga, but now it makes me feel bored. There are 7 movies right now (including that new movie) and there's a movie to come. That's a lot of movies! This world of Harry Potter that so impressed me at first now it seems monotonous. I think they should not abuse in this story, the writer and who made the movie. But I'm sure I'll go to see the movie at the cinema.

My hobby

One of my hobbies is to go to the movies. I go every Friday and on Friday if I can not go on Saturday. Whatever happens, every week I go to my appointment with the screen. Always accompanied by the same people, which can then be added to anyone. Those two people are my mother and my little sister, Miriam. This hobby always we do not remember my life without a movie almost every day, or a series, some of film culture.

At first we were all the family who were going to the cinema, but then my father

began to take a bar at night and could not come. We keep going everyone, including my aunt Mariana, who also loves movies. But now she has a boyfriend and went to the cinema with him and my other sister, Sara, studies and lives in Barcelona, but is sometimes on weekends and comes with us. I have seen many movies, and even my interest has gone beyond go to the cinema. My family collects lots of movies at home, I have a lot of movie towers next to the home cinema. Prior also had an interesting hobby that I maintain: collect entries from all the movies I've seen at the cinema. But once I lost everything and had to start from zero. That was something that made me sad, because tha material inputs were also collected memories.

As usual, the workers of the Roses movie (which is where I usually go) always know us and greet us all. My desire to be a film director came to this hobby, I still like to be that but I think it would be very hard to achieve something in this world.

Change 4th of ESO for 1rst of Batxillerat

When I was in 4th of ESO I thought that it was difficult but now I see that it isn't true. In Batxillerat I have to study a lot more and usually you don't see the benefit yet. There's a lot of work to do, and EXAMS :S

When I was doing 4th of ESO I could often meet my friends, but now I feel that I can't waste any time. Before I could do a lot of extra activities but now I can only do rowing, guitar and piano. I would like to do more things like painting, learn to play the violin, learn italian, go to cookery classes, go swimming, etc. And above of all I would like to write my own histories with time to relax me and stay home with my family.

But inspited of this I still go to the cinema with my family every Friday like always.

When I was in 4th of ESO I hated maths and now I'm still doing it, but I've improved. But I still find it difficult!!!

Now I think that my favourite subjects are Company Organitation and Literature.

Trip to Germany =)

On the 9 of June wich is my birthday I had a big surprise! I was given a special present: A TRIP TO GERMANY!!!

At the school breaktime I was with my friends talking about summer when Lydia appeared. She is one of my best friends and she had already told me that she was going to give me something special. I was very excited when I saw her smiling. She gave me a postcard while a friend taxed us and Lydia said: Open it!

At first I thought "It's a joke? Where's my present?", but when I opened it I saw that inside the envelope there was a plane ticket to Frankfurt!!!

The flight was for the following day from Girona! :O And it lasted three days.

It was living at eight o'clock in the morning so I went to my house after school and I packed my bag. I couldn't sleep that night so I was tired in the morning. Although I couldn't sleep in the flight because I was very nervious. When the plane landed we took a bus to Frankfurt city. It was the first day and we started to be very energetic and we walked around the city because we wanted to see as much as we could because we were only staying in Frankfurt one day.

Strangely the weather was very hot (34 Cº)!!! I was very surprise because I thought that Germany was a very cold country.

In the afternoon we took a train and it was horrible! While we were waiting for the train to leave there wasn't any air conditioning and it was very hot. The train left us in Wetzlar, Lydia's small town.

The second day we visited Wetzlar and we had to go to Lydia's doctor to renew her identity card. It was so embarrased because he was a baby doctor and the whole surgery was plenty of babies. I had to wait alone there with German books for small German children.

Finally on the third day we went to see what was left of Wetzlar and we came back at night. First by train, then by bus, then by plane, and finally by car. It was a fantastic trip and I will never forget it! =)

Rowing

It's difficult to explain what I think about rowing (or what I feel). I love go to the sea when it's sunny and when it's cloudy, provided that I'm with my friends and we can row.

When I'm rowing my mind is concentrated, I can even think of anything, or I can be thinking about how to rowing stronger, how to breath properly or how to stick my oar in the water... It's a good expirience that I love to practice every training. I never get bored about rowing.

There are some days that we can't go to the sea to go rowing, so we have to go to the canals. I hate go rowing in the canals, but I like the landscape. When the weather is very bad we have to do physical traning. Sometimes it doesn't like to me, but I also do it. But other times it don't care, and I almost like. In fact, I love rowing when I'm in the sea, the canals or doing ergometer. You can feel relax when you are rowing, for example, when you are traning the right of resistance and you have to be concentrated, when you are just having a boat little walk or when you are making a break and thinking about what you need to improve. But most of the time you are discharging anger, hitting the oar with all your strength or thinking when you win and what you have done makes sense.


But I think that rowing isn't be all the time training without nothing else. My team, my friends and, sometimes, my family. That's what it is. A way to life, a way to feel.

I love it, it makes me smile.

Cristina

Today I will talk about Cristina. Her complete name is Cristina Malirach Reitg. She is my classmate and she is sitting next to me now. We were best friends in primary but when we started the High school we separated from each other. We meet again in rowing last year and with other girls we made a team. We retake our friendship. Now, we are in the same class and she sits next to me. This picture show the moment we were starting to retake our friendship stronger: our 4th of ESO trip to Italy. We stay all the day together.

Now we are best friends again. We agreed to go every Friday at Roses' swimming pool. Last Friday we go for first time and I liked this a lot! We go to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna... Then we go to eat something to a bar next to Roses' cinema and finally we go to see "Los ojos de Julia" at the cinema.

Cristina is a very nice person, she never is sad, she is always with a smile in her face. I like her character a lot, we laugh every day because we are so pranksters. But there's more things we have in common. We get good grades and work with our homework, o we always work together. She comes to my house and we take the opportunity to stay together, singing, playing the guitar and singing, watching movies, chatting...

In fact, Cristina and I have taken up exactly the link we had when we were small.
